COLORADO STATE PATROL
The Colorado State Patrol strives to be First in Traffic Safety in
Colorado. "Being first has nothing to do with recognition or
glory, however it has everything to do with saving lives and
reducing crashes on Colorado highways."

The mission of the Colorado State Patrol is to ensure a safe and
secure environment in Colorado for all persons by providing
professional law enforcement through responsive, courteous, caring
and dedicated service.
In part, this is being accomplished through the tireless efforts of the 25 member ART Team. Members of the Accident Reconstruction Team must be a Level IV investigator, skilled in utilizing computer technology in creating scale maps of the scenes and analyzing momentum and crush energies.
